Nigeria’s Centenary Notes & Images
Dear
compatriots, colleagues and friends,
The
African Centre for Media & Information Literacy (AFRICMIL) is
pioneering a project on reflections and images to mark Nigeria’s Centenary
(1914-2014). The aim is to gauge public opinion/perception (far removed from
the views/positions of officialdom) about Nigeria, 100 years after its
creation.
As
our dear nation “wobbles, stumbles and fumbles,” there couldn’t be a better
time to begin an informed and broad-based debate about the way forward.
We
hope that as you and your loved ones enjoy the holidays, you’ll take a few
minutes to reflect on what Nigeria means to you and share your opinion of the Nigeria
of your dream and how to achieve it!
Please
visit the link below and in just 100 words share
your views and upload an “exciting” image
if available.
Kindly
indicate Name; Gender; Designation; Contact: Email and Twitter.
Please
spread the word to your contacts and networks!
"A New Nigeria is Possible!"
In
Solidarity,
Chido
